PT Pertamina Lubricants is part of the Downstream Subholding of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. The company was established on September 23, 2013, and officially received the spin-off of the Lubricants Business Unit from PT Pertamina (Persero) on October 30, 2013. The company was established to strengthen the national lubricants business through continuous product development, innovation, and market expansion.
The establishment of the company was based on Deed No. 35, executed before Notary Lenny Janis Ishak, S.H., for PT Pertamina Lubricants.
PT Pertamina Lubricants was founded in accordance with Law No. 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas, engaging in the production, processing, transportation, storage, distribution, and marketing of lubricants, grease, specialty products, base oil, and their raw materials.
The shareholding composition of PT Pertamina Lubricants is as follows:
a. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (99.96%)
b. PT Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia (0.04%)
Currently, PT Pertamina Lubricants has one active subsidiary in Thailand and one joint venture company, PT Katalis Sinergi Indonesia, with the following share ownership composition:
a. PT Pertamina Lubricants (74%)
b. PT Pertamina Retail (1%)
c. Mr. Suphasiip Kunawiwattananon (Mr. SP) (25%)
Meanwhile, the joint venture composition of PT Katalis Sinergi Indonesia is as follows:
a. PT Pertamina Lubricants (38%)
b. PT Pupuk Kujang (37%)
c. PT Rekacipta Inovasi ITB (25%)
